SIRO appoints Dr. Ajit Nair to lead India operations
Brings drug development experience from India's leading pharmaceutical and drug
discovery companies to key leadership role.
Mumbai, March 24, 2008 - SIRO CLINPHARM PVT LTD, India's leading full service
clinical research organization (CRO), today announced the appointment of Ajit Nair, PhD as President of its India
business. He will hold overall responsibility of business in India, and will provide leadership to the massive
expansion in operational scale and technology that are currently underway in SIRO.
Dr. Ajit Nair served most recently in a senior leadership role at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a company
credited with one of India's most active and successful drug development programs. Dr. Nair's responsibilities
included clinical development of New Chemical Entities (NCE), global CRO management encompassing clinical
operations, clinical data management & biometrics and drug safety for clinical studies outsourced.

This is Dr. Nair's second stint with SIRO. His return is the third in a series of high profile returns to SIRO
from pharmaceutical companies.
Before Glenmark, Dr. Nair served in challenging positions in Clinical Research Operations/Medical Services with
Novartis and Wockhardt. Dr. Nair has a PhD in Pharmacology from Mumbai University. He will be based out of SIRO's
Thane office in India.
