SIRO Clinpharm’s Dr. Nimita Limaye, VP, CDM and Medical Writing, India operations
presented a session on "Establishing And Nurturing The Medical Writing Partnership For Success" during the 45th
Annual Meeting of Drug Information Association (DIA) held at San Diego, CA from 21-25 Jun 2009.
The session comprised of topics regarding Global outsourcing trends in Medical Writing, Varying Perceptions on
off-shoring of Medical Writing services and also on India as a potential Medical Writing destination.
A matter of honor for SIRO, the session comprised of a case study presentation on ‘success story on off-shoring
medical writing partnerships’ which was showcased based on a Sponsor recommendation for whom SIRO has
effectively established a dedicated FTE engagement comprising skilled medical writers for providing
Medical Writing services for a top global pharma based out of the US. The spectrum of services offered
includes regulatory and safety writing (CSRs, protocols, IBs, narratives, ASRs, SUSARs) as well as
publication writing”.
