SIRO Clinpharm provides update on integration of its European acquisition.
Announces renaming of Omega Mediation Group companies as SIRO Clinpharm.
Mumbai, January 11, 2010 - SIRO Clinpharm, a global Contract Research
Organization (CRO) with a base in India, US, Europe and Israel had acquired Omega Mediation Group in April 2008
which now spearheads its Europe operations.
SIRO today announced that Omega Mediation Group companies in Germany, Greece, Romania, Estonia and Israel have now
been renamed as SIRO Clinpharm. As part of SIRO’s Omega integration agenda, the legal change of company name is a
progressive post acquisition step taken by SIRO to establish a common identity across the group and a consistent
interface to clients.
'The acquisition, besides opening up wider geographies for our clients has brought together a vast pool of
talented resources which will ensure consistent delivery of our best capabilities to them', said Scott Spector,
President Europe.
'With the official name change now complete we are glad to take charge of the baton from Volker and Sofia Hofmann,
who started and headed Omega Mediation and supported us throughout the integration process over a period of last
more than 20 months. This acquisition has been synergistic having brought together business strengths and
organizational values of both SIRO and Omega. It has been going great until now and we have huge expectations from
ourselves with strategies mapped out to ensure we expand in Europe further and grow as aggressively as we have

Earlier during 2009 SIRO opened new offices in Czech Republic and Spain.
During 2009, SIRO formed significant alliances with CambReg, U.K., a European Regulatory services provider,
Mediscis, France an Early Phase specialist Clinical Research Organization and a world class logistics company to
support SIRO’s Clinical Trials Supplies business.
Towards end of 2009, SIRO joined hands with a Site Management Organization in Sri Lanka to broaden its services in
the South East Asian region.
