T. R. Srinivasan
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Srinivasan was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the SIRO group of companies since April
2009.
As SIRO’s CFO, he is responsible for ensuring that the Finance function effectively supports the business in
realizing the business goals and objectives. His main areas of responsibilities include Strategic Business
Planning, Management Reporting and Analysis, Internal Controls, Statutory Compliance, Treasury and Taxation
matters and Decision Support on key business issues.
Mr Srinivasan has work experience of over 20 years in Fortune 500 companies like Unilever, Philips Electronics and
Reliance Industries, both in India and abroad, in a number of diverse assignments across different business
areas.
His last assignment before joining SIRO was at Reliance Retail, where he was the Head of Commercial for
RelianceDigital Retail Limited, a consumer durables retailing format. As part of the Leadership Team there, he
played a key part in the business start-up and roll out of stores across multiple retail formats as well as in
establishing the Finance function and setting up the commercial processes for the business.
During his 8 year stint with Philips Electronics, he was the Financial Controller for their Consumer Electronics
business, first in India and then at North America. He also managed a global program in improving the Management
Reporting & Analysis processes within Philips to Best-in-Class standards, based at the global headquarters in the
Netherlands.
He started his career with the Indian subsidiary of Unilever and spent 12 years working in different parts of the
company.
Mr. Srinivasan is Post Graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India, with
specialization in Finance. He is also a Cost & Works Accountant.
